    I had the rear window replaced in my previous Prius and the windscreen replaced in my actual GS last year by Allglass/Autoglass through a claim to my insurance and did not count as a claim in both cases. Maybe in Ireland is different.

    I also believe that Slovakia is a really beautiful country and often underestimated by tourists. We go every summer to Zilina, about 200 kms north of Bratislava. Last year from Zilina we drove to Auschwitz which is not far away.

    I would not be sure that parking is plentiful in Italy especially in big cities, maybe cheaper compared to UK. Driving is ok until Florence even though I think in UK you are more disciplined. From Rome to the south of Italy I think only India can be worse.

    I did not mean to be cheeky, it is just a different habit from kms to miles and vice versa but I understand that the sat nav could be confused. Anyway I don't find the roads in Cork so good, maybe better than in England as you say, but considering what we pay for the motor tax they could be much better.

    This is the advantage of being part of the EU. It is just a point of view and habit. For me it is difficult to use miles and gallons. Also shame that UK left the EU in my view.

    I put OEM shocks in mine. Lexus Cork did the work.

    The tape player was one of the reasons why I would have preferred a 2008 GS over a 2011 one if I had had the choice.

    I have heard that the coffee in Turkey is very good.

    Excuse -me John but the Italian coffee is widely known as one of the best ones. There is a reason why Starbucks closed down all its bars in Italy after only a few years.

    I am going to replace the rear shocks at the Lexus dealer next week. I preferred to fix the 2 leaks in the exhaust 2 weeks ago for 160 euros rather than replacing the entire exhaust for a lot more. I hope the repair will last. Was the battery replaced at Lexus? Only £2k? I thought it would have been more expensive.

    Really Steven? Only £1k in 2022? Wow! That's a real bargain if you consider that I paid mine 8,250 euros in December 2021 after looking for nearly one year. Did you replace the rear shocks and the exhaust?

    My Prius had 185/R15. Maybe the only Prius in Ireland with this size.

    Are you saying that there are more similarities between Debica Presto and Dunlop Sportmaxx rather than between Debica and Goodyear which makes Debica?

    Linas what does it mean RT and RT2 please? Presto UHP2 were suggested to me by my local garage.

    Of course if the difference is a few £ or euros it does not make sense to go for budget tyres. In my case with the Prius it was a mix of my ignorance for tyres and trust in my local garage. I paid 60 euros each some years ago.
