  1. GMB

    2010 onwards ISF

There seem to be a few more recent ones on autotrader at the moment. Can't comment on how good they are but not particularly cheap.
  2. I bought my car from Stoke and they were very helpful with a document issue that they sorted out for me.
  3. Overheard at the Porsche service waiting room. How much? £2400 quid mate Are you sure? It's only a minor service? That's the normal price buddy It's outrageous! Well you did buy a Porsche pal! We gave it a free wash'n'scratch and the mechanic did a road test - 2 miles down the ring road bouncing off the rev limiter, that's normally extra matey. How do you want to pay?
  4. I never found it and don't know if a Lexus owners club exists.🤔
  5. This video makes sense and it follows BMW advice/instruction on new M5 and M3 engines.
  6. I bought this for my isF. It didn't want it so I had it instead.
  7. They are all a bit iffy and expensive.😝. But not as iffy and expensive as Porsche dealers🚙
  8. Do the right thing despite what they say and run it in properly!
  9. Just FYI all petrol performance car owners. I have just filled up with Shell V-power £1.699 per litre! The thing that puzzled me was the fact that the staff were not wearing masks or balaclavas.🤔🤠.
  10. Understood! tell me about it -- I also have an isF! Just tax and insurance make me weep.
  11. Sounds suspiciously like Bolton. But then they would have stabbed all the drivers and their families as well if it really was Bolton.
  12. I think they are going up in price since we last looked to buy one ( under £30K at the time about 18 months/2yrs ago ) - but certainly a great car - I can't afford one at the moment😭😞 Apparently they are going to bring out an even faster electric stinger GT but I would rather have the old petrol one. "It's not what you do it's the way that you do it" springs to mind
  13. We were actually going to buy one ( the GT ) until the dealer tried a dirty trick on us and we walked out of the showroom. We bought an UP Gti instead ( that was a can of worms ) - We should have got the Kia but as said the sales manager was as genuine as a nine bob note and we could not have any dealings with someone like that.
  14. Kia s are decent cars like a lot of others, they have had their issues but Kia seem to be able to sort it, although I would not say no to the 3.3 Stinger GT. Our old 2010 140,000 mile Kia ( given away ) is still going strong and has been totally reliable.
  15. But someone on here said that you get a free bag of weeds if you had bought a new Lexus?
  16. Build up of dust or grit from those dry Spanish roads?
  17. I just looked at the link to the lexus awards and the picture at the top. I was going to make some polite sensible comment but.....🤢🤐🤮. I now have the problem of getting that picture out of my mind.
  18. Yes, It's a bit like some wine awards. You pay to enter the wine in the competition knowing that almost every wine will get an award and a sticker for the bottle. Medal stickers sell wines to certain folk. Some competitions are genuine, others not so much.
  19. My last few years at work were classed as "based at home" because I did most of my work either on the phone or computer remote access or travelling around the world. It worked OK. My boss, based in New Jersey, USA used to ring me usually at five minutes to the hour. He let me in on the secret that he knew that we had a cuckoo clock and that told him that I was at home and not in the pub. I remember one particular Friday afternoon driving 5 hrs on the Mway from London while doing a very long and complicated tech support phone call. I don't remember any of the journey due to the complexity of the call. Now that's what I call dangerous and stupid but we were obliged to do it! It would not happen nowadays fortunately.
  20. I thought scumble was a description of the local yoofs hanging around the shopping centre after dark, i.e. Scum ambling about??😇. As in "we're just going down the offy for a litre of cider, a tramps underpants flavoured vape, an NO2 cylinder or two, a bit of aggro and a scumble"
  21. tesco's here is about 1.46 for E10 and 1.54 for momentum. The last 150 miles just cost me £35 (momentum) .😒 The isF and bike only get V-power so it is much more expensive, however, the bike does 55mpg even though it is 1900cc.😉
  22. Bonkers innit! When markets are distorted by special pricing and subsidies they always fail when reality strikes. Thank goodness I have my old fashioned petrol engined vehicles and the only battery is the old 12v dinosaur under the bonnet.
  23. UAE worth considering but it's a bit too hot and wine is expensive over there so I would be bankrupt based on my drinking habits.
  24. Stephen - stop drinking the cheap Italian stuff, it is not doing you any good. Get yourself a nice fresh Macon villages to clear your thoughts.
