  1. Regarding £500 compensation, below is statement from Lexus: We recognised the negative impact of this late change and I am happy to confirm that there is a goodwill package available which we have shared with our Lexus Centre partners. Through your Lexus Centre we would like to support the disruption caused to you by offering a £500.00 contribution towards any of the following:- Free Service / Service Plan contribution  Accessory purchase  Merchandise
  2. Apepat ordered early/mid November- January EDD. NX350H FSPORT TAKUMI Mine ordered 16th November and somewhere in the Pacific Ocean heading to Suez. NX350H FSPORT plain no add ons. Galex ordered end of November docking in Spain. NX350H FSPORT? Consolation is that they are building them now (or whatever did not get built) since November 2021. But some dealers seem to have better clout at build slots and delivery than others. Not sure how that works. Hope to remember that next time.
  3. Sounds like we both have the same order schedule. Mine reserved Oct 22, 2021 with order completed mid November 2021 as the salesman went off on holiday. However, mine is 350H Fsport with EDD - December 2022 and already left the factory. I guess if yours goes into build this October/November you will be looking at December/January delivery. Build/left the factory date is more reliable than EDD. At least you know the car is built and it is a question of when you will get it. Otherwise, the system is all over the place as many has commented already on this forum.
  4. Got my hands on the shipping information. Ship is called Georgia Highway. Left Nagoya, Japan on the 3rd October @17.52 heading to Suez Canal - due date 21 Oct. Destination - Portsbury - arrival - 02 Nov. Then to Derby.
  5. Well got an email saying build completed and left the factory. Anyone knows what this means - left the factory and sitting outside or left the factory and on a ship to UK.
  6. Not sure I will see the car before December 2022. Rather have the car than the compensation but every little helps in these tough times. Great customer service as they have definitely raised their game this time.
  7. Well, the delay continues. But pleasant surprise today. Received a response to my letter from Lexus Director, £500 compensation and the Lexus hamper below for the delays. Well, I am speechless.
  8. Special airlift operation with a forklift truck will do the job. Nice little ride though...
  9. Not sure about ES orders but if you scroll back on various postings here, you will note similar app/website updates to full location details once the order has allocated build slot. Going by postings, the order goes to build about 3-4 weeks after that. It may be longer this time given one week factory shut down. If yours has been showing location details since February 2022, then it seems there are variations. Nonetheless, Toyota September 2022 plan below seems promising for all models. So yours may be on the way soon. Best of luck https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/corporate/37824467.html
  10. Likely to be quicker for NX450H than for NX350H. It is definitely a good sign but bearing in mind that all production lines in Japan is shut down for summer holidays starting the 13th August for a week. So, Oct/Nov 2022 does look good for NX450. Congrats.
  11. I was almost at the point of believing that my dealer is as useless as a chocolate teapot until I received the follow our progress email and shortly after that the news that the order has gone to build. It is 4 weeks now and nothing further. Even if they are building a warship or a fighter jet, why so long. I thought cars are built within 48 hours. Anyway, my weekend rant over.
  12. Well, the last time I had faith in what any dealers or even Lexus HQ had to say about NX350H was way back in March 2022. We are almost in August. Some 350H orders on their way to UK reported on this forum are mostly premium packs with hardly any exceptions.
  13. Well, not all of us ordered via brokers. Some of the longest waiting lists appears to affect NX350H FSPORT, Takumi and Takumi FSPORT versions. ETAs were a problem as they were and continues to be hugely unreliable. Some of us have build dates confirmed, but no further updates. The wait continues....to the ember months.
  14. Maybe, that's why you have 450h sitting idly at the shop and no buyers. While order sheet for 350h is bursting and waiting times 18-24 months. Thankfully, there is something called supply and demand that affects price vs profitability. Thats where the bubble burst.
  15. Well, as the dealer said, 450H is not more profitable than 350H. It is all about avoiding green tax for lexus. Dealers are not getting any more money. For the dealer, they can shift more 350H than 450H. Turnover is where the gains lie for the dealer not high spec or price.
  16. Was at the dealership today. Brand new 1x Nx450H Fsport and 1x NX450H Takumi both sat at the showroom for sale. Price £60 grand +. No 350H anywhere to be seen. The bubble will soon burst as Mazda release CX60 plug in hybrid with toof the range Takumi (fully specced) at below £50 grand. 500 vehicles hitting UK showroom September 2022.
  17. Well, it is raining 450H plus. Happy for you guys. August production suspension below seems to miss out NX. Good news for those waiting. https://global.toyota/en/newsroom/corporate/37543786.html
  18. 350H Fsport ordered November 2021. Lots said on delivery March and June 2022. All came and passed. Advised order went to build 29 June 2022 with ETA 16/9. Well, it seems lots being said Sept/Oct. Hope it becomes a reality for the 350H folks. Maybe, Lexus for Christmas to remember 🤔
  19. Well, you have definitely not missed anything by not having the app/website tracker. For some, it is still the same (order in progress) the day of order (last year) as it is, today. It is only useful when it goes to build as you get more frequent updates.
  20. Ordered 350H in February 2022 and ETA September 2022 - well, I wish you luck. One off the block is an opportunity for another. You are correct, in the short term, they are not losing anything by keeping your custom but stand to gain if you decide to leave. In the long term, if you leave, you probably never gonna come back if you find a reliable alternative. So good on your dealership for making that call.
  21. I bet there are dealers posing as customers on these threads.
  22. Also interesting what you see on Auto trader. I guess that's Lexus new dealership centre. A brand new NX350H FSPORT is listed as £50,310 while a used NX350H FSPORT is listed as £54,995. Almost the cost of a brand new NX350H FSPORT Takumi. A used car is now more expensive than a brand new car. It is a dealers' world. Customers are caught up in this absolute mess, while Lexus and dealers are playing ping pong with our orders.
  23. Agreed. I am not sure the so called top brass care. They are sitting on a pile of orders not witnessed before for NX in UK. Unless, their bottom line profit is affected and they are posting sales never seen before, why should they be worried. In my experience, Lexus Customer Service blames the dealers while dealers blame lexus customer service. October/November 2021 350h orders seem to be a headache for them. Dealers would like us to cancel as it will be a bonus if the cars eventually arrive due to huge mark up in price. Lexus Customer Service knows it is a huge PR disaster, as they cannot deliver orders taken at new car launch, why would anyone trust any other sales hype coming from them. Someone mentioned they are desperately trying to complete all orders made last year, assigning them build slots before 1st October 2022, traditionally, a set date for new models. Maybe, that's why there is no new update on NX 2023. Therefore, I am not looking forward to my November 2021 order being delivered before September 2022 and frankly, Lexus don't care as much from what I have seen so far.
  24. Well, received a call from dealer today. Car gone to build yesterday. NX350H FSport ordered November 2021. Hopeful to others who ordered same spec in November 2021
  25. I think Lexus has conveniently forgotten what their pre-order campaign were. I cannot list them all here but I can see similarities with the new RX pre-order campaign. Test drive by December 2022, deliveries by January 2023, refundable deposit, no spec changes etc. We all know how that went. Nonetheless, cannot see any hapless dealer in this current climate arguing that deposit is not fully refundable.
