  1. Happened to a friend on Nissan Qashqai. Modern headlights come as a unit. Cost to my friend upwards of £1750 including ECU for just one unit not pair. Rare incident the dealer said but when it happens, ridiculously expensive to put right.
  2. Echo this - waited 14 months - ending with deceptive practice from the dealer trying to fob me off by changing interest rate supposedly locked in at 3.8% to 11.9%. I smiled and paid cash. The look on their faces, I will never forget. Love the car but lost all trust in Lexus dealers.
  3. Yes Intelligent Parking Mode: Yes As on the manual I am not tech savvy and hope never to have to use it.
  4. The one I have uses Gforce which starts recording when an object movement is detected around your vehicle, including incident.

  6. Sounds like a dealer specific issue. My 350H nextbase front and back dashcam was installed by Lexus Dealer in Nov 2022 and it has Intelligent parking mode, which you activate on your nextbase app. I guess 2020 may be current in 2022 but not in vogue in 2024.

  9. Wondering if anyone with 350H has received it. Strange thing happening to my app for weeks. If I tap on vehicle status, it draws blank stating - no update received for vehicle status

  12. Has anyone received the new lexus interface software update by any chance?
  13. 11,000 plus miles and no rattles or creaks. Had brake/damper noise less than 500 miles but all resolved. It seems every production batch have just that one that just requires final fine tuning before rolling off but did not get it. I thought mine was that for the first 500 miles.

  17. Weird experience. Left work, approached car and touch the handle as usual to open and no response. Pressed Key fob and no response. Panic set in. YouTube to the rescue. Used manual Key, insert and turn, all alarm went off. Second panic. Door won't budge. Managed to get in and start car. Alarm stopped. Drove home. Turn off the car and closed the door. Pressed Key fob, car locked. Pressed again and doors opened. Now very worried whether this will be a routine occurrence. Car just had its first service a couple of days ago.
  18. Got the AA wireless but not sure whether I had it set wrong for these reasons; 1. Rarely connects automatically and having to constantly fiddle with phone and car Bluetooth settings in the morning or on restarting the car to connect. 2. Connection often drops while using Waze Nav on the drive which is a driving risk 3. Not sure whether this is down to Samsung Note 20 that I use. For those who use AA WIRELESS please any ideas the best car setting to connect wireless.   19. Got a Lexus App update today - version 2.2. No visual or functional changes I can see. Pretty much the same as before. So not sure what the update is for.
  20. Anyone having problems with Lexus app or my lexus log in? Logged in fine all day but now saying invalid credentials. Never changed anything.
  21. Recently, I had a nail puncture in one of my tyres. Being run flat and having tyre and wheel cover, I called the service/booking team and the lovely lady I got on the phone gave me an appointment in three weeks time and just could not understand how unreasonable she sounded, asking me if I can pump the tyre. But on firm education of running a flat tyre for 3 weeks, I was put through Andy who got me in on the same day and tyre sorted.
  22. As far as I know, most of the staff were replaced. The lead technician is Andy and so far, has been very considerate. The service/booking team is the weakest link so far but if you get past them, the rest, I have found no reason to complain, yet.
  23. Thanks David, the complaint were loud unsettling squeaks coming from underneath the car when over bumps or potholes. Sorted by replacing OSF suspension top mount. No squeaking at all. I also complained about increasingly groaning noise when you come to a stop or take your foot off the brakes to inch forward, worse going downhill or on a straight and unnoticeable going up an incline. Not sure how they resolved that but noticed on return that my car seat settings were all adjusted. I rarely hear it anymore but occasionally when parked up an incline slowly inching down. They also carried out a DCM software update but has not noticed anything different before and after.
  24. Just reporting back. Car in and out of the dealership. First class service, picked up, repaired, full tank of fuel, professionally valeted and returned back home. No squeaking or squealing, infact no sound at all except for the occasional front battery charging, at least for now.
