Its not always easy to find but, Autoglym Supreme Polish is a trade produce developed especially for black cars. I had a flat black Astra and a Astral Black IS 200 and both had the most fantastic finish after a wash and polish with Supreme polish. and a coat of extra gloss. DONT USE Autoglym resin polish on black cars it will show every mark and crusty dead fly corpse.

No competition, give me the Lex everytime.

Glasgow does have an area in the showroom for collection, although their dealership is very cramped and they really do need to change premises. When I collected my car I got diddly....no flowers or chocolates for the missus, not even a Lexus brolley :shutit: I'll let you know ifI get anything. The salesperson has been excellent, phoning often to keep me informed etc. One of the main reasons I bought my car from Lexus Edinburgh (as opposed to Glasgow) is the reviews of the dealership experience on here. Yeah quite a wait, apparently there are no Auto's as the yanks are sucking the factory dry, I wanted black with Pembroke interior and MM so had to join the waiting list, *** knows how long it is now. In fact anyone know what the wait is now if you order an auto?

Looking on the Jap Lexus site i found a pair of front and rear dealer fit option lip spoliers for the new IS. Anyone know if its a dealer option over here or is this something else we dont get. New IS250SEL Auto MM due 1st Sept just wondered if i could add it on as an option. 4 & 1/2 months wait gone, only 1 1/2 to go. Its now so close i can smell it... :P To Infinity and beyond...............

Will do. Sold my Black IS200 Sport back to the dealer to avoid the book price falls before delivery of the new one on the pretence of getting delivery quite soon. Only slighly disapointed at the delay. Not the dealers fault. Damm yankees buying up all the autos. The MM blew me away when i tested the new IS, it was a must have for the new one. Any disk formatts it wont play? From here to................

Think yourself lucky. I ordered a IS250 SEL Auto in Black with Pembroke interior back in March. Delivery due this month. I found out today the delivery is to be put back to mid August. The dealer has apologiesed as the delay is out of thier control. So they are prepared to hold the car for two weeks to get the benefit of the reg change in September. 12 more weeks of torture driving a F@~king Diesel Ford Connect Van. Were you given any idea of the UK sale price or do we expect the usual new model price hike. Expect 25k ish might be a reasonable guess. Same styling house as BMW have been stuck with for the past few years although overall shape is good not sure about the slab sided doors. Like the interior.

Hello All, I am a new member of your forum as i am due to take delivery of my IS200 Sport tomorrow. The car is standard however does not have navigation fitted. My previous car had a Becker Traffic Pro System fitted. and i am tod that it is difficult or impossible to source a Lexus system to to retro fit. So my question is has anyone fitted an aftermarket system ie Pioneer or Alpine. I am considering the 7" touch screen Pioneer NAV/CD/DVD Din E sized in dash unit. What are the pit falls with the built in amplifier. Many thanks Infinity.
