  1. Brent ..Having owned quite a few automatic Cars I Must say That I Am Definately 100% not interested in Driving in Manual Mode....In fact have never even tried It...I Much prefer to let the car do all the work....Your a much safer Driver I Think when you have both hands on the wheel and don,t have to keep changing Gears Or Paddling about... Majority of More Mature Drivers would Rather have Automatic cars i Think...Just love mine...!!! Who Wants to break in to a sweat changing Gears..!!!
  2. AS Far as car insurance is concerned i think you should at least get quotes 30 days before your current insurance expires Don,t leave it till the last few days..This has a profound effect on what you pay.. This is my Experience..!!!
  3. I too Never use the EV button or the Paddles.. i Just let the car do its own thing..Maybe i should experiment...
  4. Never thought about how carbon can Build up and affect vehicle performance....!!!
  5. I Think Nearly All Insurance companies ask If You Have added extra security on your car And yes it could be Reverse psychology regarding added security...!!!!! I do know that if you add an older driver on to your policy it brings the renewal price Down.....
  6. Has this noise you are hearing ONLY started from the de.carbon procedure..If It Has.. There could be the Reason.. Just a Thought..!!!
  7. Would Agree Rayaans.. The problem seems to be with the Wiper Arms and NOT withThe Rubbers..Surprised lexus Dealership did not Look at that...Because no one else to MY knowledge appears to have that problem with the Rubbers so One must Deduce that That the inherrant Fault Is with the Wiper arms........
  8. Personally.... i would go for the Lexus Dealership Warranty over the Warranty you have purchased from the garage you bought your car from....Even Better if you can get this money back.. But be quick.. Garages are not keen to refund Warranty Money... Check the Small Print.. Could be your Stuck with it..However the ideal warranty is always always going to be with Lexus....My opinion only of course..!!
  9. Gosh.. That looks grim Alan..More to come i think..!!!
  10. The Golden rule Stephen...DON,T Park next To The Hillbillies ( The Clampets ) Or Really Old cars Hanging with Stickers Flags and Encrusted with RUST Just Love where you,ve parked.. Spot On..!!
  11. Your Spot On Len..All Drivers should not be on a Public Road unless they have all the necessary documentation.ie M.O.T Insurance Road tax and Especially a Current driving licence......
  12. Can I Enlighten you On Your last Comment Andrew..It Makes NO Difference Whether its your Fault or the Fault of a Third Party..All Insurers see this as a Reason to bump up your Premium REGARDLESS Of fault..At Least That is my experience...!!
  13. Lots Of Good Comments here Len .. Very profound and could,nt Agree More
  14. Yes... I Was Going to suggest getting checked out at the Hospital I.e XRAY. Kind of thought it might be a Cracked Rib..Really Sore ..I Feel your Pain..Take care..!!! There is a very good over the counter bottle that might ease it a little..Its called Radian B..( Aspirin Spirit Liniment..)The liquid form.. That might just ease the pain...!!!!!
  15. Snap.. This is what i had to do Yesterday Stephen.. Of course it always happens when you have to travel Somewhere Quickly..!!
  16. That,s a Strange one Jon ..Could it possibly be a Frozen censor or Faulty perhaps..Highly unlikely !! I would get the dealerships thoughts on this .They just might come up with a solution..I Can understand how frustrating this will be Jon..
