    I don’t think that they necessarily knew, it’s a scatter gun approach, if they call enough people, some will have current dealings with HMRC. pits like if you get an email from the bank and you don’t bank with them you know it’s a scam and ignore it, but if you happen to bank with them and have current dealings you can get drawn in. the answer is never respond to anything, but call or email on a different device to contact details looked up separately, and still take care

    A recall on the LC wouldn’t be a huge amount as there are not that many of them

    Having owed a 911 a Vantage and currently owning a LC500 they are all great cars, my heart is with the Aston, driving dynamics are with the Porsche but looks, interior and wallet are with the Lexus.

    Hi I not sure if it’s the same set up, but I have an LC500 My fuel cap wouldn’t open without a lot of messing around I took it into Lexus and they made an adjustment when I got home it wouldn’t open again. they then ordered a new part and fitted it yesterday. when got home it still worked so fingers crossed.

    I am hoping to join one of the tours or events that get organised, if they fit around my holidays/ work. Maybe next summer as I would love to see different colours and trim and also other models

    Spotted my first LC in the wild yesterday. I bought mine 7 months ago, so this was an exciting event. I was driving in Henleaze Bristol and came up behind a 67 plate blue one (I think hybrid) The lady driving it pulled over to park and as I went past I tooted and waved whereupon she looked at me and waved back. I don’t think she could see what I was driving and just thought it was somebody she knew (probably still trying to place me) but it put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

    I quite like the rear wing But I vowed never to have a black car again Looks lovely when washed but 2 days later aarg I have a Valeter come around once a month and the red just about hides the dirt enough to last that long As long as we don’t get a sand black coming up from Africa lol
