  1. Where are we all meeting then??
  2. not got my tickets yet - no one in o sign for them either !
  3. So any progress on this then? I bought some of the cheapo (1.99) Halfords car shampoo yesterday which seemed to come out well on the foam test on the meguires site. I have a bottle attachment for my cheapo B&Q power washer which I am going to try it in. I suspect it wont foam looking at the nozzle, but worth a shot seeing as it will have only cost me 1.99 to try :) Might get a Karcher if I am impressed further by the idea :)
  4. Ahmet, did you ever find a sofa maker for your corner sofa?? We are looking for one now also :)
  5. Thats the problem though, it only limits the highest gear you can shift to, so you can get unexpected shoft downs etc. Very dodge when the crash barrier is only 2m away and £1000/metre to fix LOL :) Hence why I decided auto was safer :) On day-to-day roads and burning around it is fun though - Just be careful :)
  6. Josie and I will be there, tickets ordered :D
  7. It can be unpredictable, when I was blatting round the ring I found it safer to leave it in full auto mode as you can "predict" when the kick down will come in etc. I felt there was too much chance of an unwanted burst of ooomph in e-shift mode. I do use it for additional breaking though at time :)
  8. I think the UK now has a reciprocal agreement where they can ban french drivers and the french can ban UK drivers. I know you can get banned in France on a UK licence, so I would expect the same in the UK.
  9. The normal lucas headlight deflectors for the IS200 work with the IS300 as well should you wish to use headlight deflectors.
  10. Mine was £384 quid all in fitted from Lexus, I used them to avoid any issues with water leakage and being stuck between the window fitters, lexus and the insurance company.
  11. Make sure when they fit it there is a constant gap at the top. If they forget to fit wedges, it can drop (mine did). Also, dont go moving your car (or shutting/opening the doors) for around 6 hours.
  12. Hmmmm... sounds like fun :) Me + Josie price and dates dependant of couse :)
  13. Do you need another push Barry :P :D
  14. Steel toe cap camp weelies on a Mackum with no pants........ LOL :D wish I was there :)
  15. Ah - shame as we were planning on doing JAE and a Heli thing in Northants.... both are similar per person, so I would be blowing 60 quid plus fuel.... bah... must be more organised next year! (must not move house at the same time as all these things I want to go to! :D)
  16. £15 if you are coming onto the stand (same price as weekend ticket) Janey - is that 15 quid each or per car? (If it's per car we will most prolly make an appearance :) )
  17. I used to spend a couple of hours a day on here, not so much now... just a 10 min search of new posts since last visit.
  18. Glad your OK Thom.... chav scum grrrrr...
  19. Dont think I am going to make this one... came in to work this afternoon to clear my desk and have been roped in to a few beers after work... this will turn out such that I will be leaving the car at work... however depending on how much I end up enjoying will dictate when I pick the car up tomorrow I suspect... maybe next time :)
  20. Are we still all on for this given that it is still raining :) ??
  21. Has anyone tried this before?? Heating up the area of the dent with a hair dryer for about 1 min then spraying the area with a compressed areosol upside down so only very cold air comes out? Link to video I have a small dent in the read drivers side door and was thinking about giving it a go??
  22. hehe wait till I show Josie :)
