Yes mate it was a good drive back. Getting up there took some time (you were right about the traffic). Came back via A616 to Sheffield and down M1. The game was good and the result was fantastic. Shame we couldn't stop and have a chat, I'm dying to have a closer look at your car. Glad to hear it running good. :)

I too have the Ipaq with TomTom3 using bluetooth GPS receiver. It works really well and it's very portable.

Hello Bal, and welcome to LOC. :) I drive mostly around town and not much motorway driving. My average MPG is around 24. Some would say that's bad, but I say it's worth it :P But as Ian (fidgets) has said, you can get into the mid 30's if it mostly motorway driving that you do and if you don't have a heavy right foot. ;)

Fair point. If I say I was very careful when undertaking would that make it better? I assume not somehow. There's no excuse for bad driving on the motorway and although I have been guilty of it at times in the past, I don't condone it. :)

Yes I agree...they are very annoying. I met a few today too, M6, M42 and M1. I undertook a few times and overtook a few of them driving my car very closely to theirs and then darting back in to prove a point. Daft driving by me really but it made me feel better. :D

Sorry Steve, but it's still not working for me. I can get into the Garage homepage without any problems, but when I click on anyone's garage it thinks about it for a while and then just fails. This is the same problem as before.
