I know the tracker is a good idea and an excellent buy. Does a tracker reduce the Insurance premium?

    Bad news mate, sorry to hear this. I Feel for you, Id be gutted! I suggest a LOC group buy of them Digital Safes. This is where my keys sleep. There not that there exspensive but this what I use and sleep easy at night. Can be fixed to wall or ground and mounting particulars are often included. Express you're interests.

    Id go for the RS Altezza if you want a little more under the bonnet, as most of us here who own IS 200 do!! :P If you're not bothered, go for the genuine article. After badging an Altezza nobody would tell the difference from outside anyway. And the Altezzas are cheaper to pick up as well.

    Mini Disc Is un likely I think. Its about died of death in the UK as Mp3 has killed it. Im a big mini disc fan but im not paying £600 for the lexus changer.

    Check out Autoexpress.co.uk, but contact Leuxs GB is you're best bet. £10 worth of fuel will probably cover the cost of starting the RX!! Never mind about driving it!! I bought my Lex from a non Lex dealer and got 12 months Mot and Warranty as you would with Lexus, 12 months tax again with Lexus and a full tank of fuel. Id of thought that Lexus would give you that to.

    Surely they must be doing a manual?? Oh my word, why bother Lexus?!! You answer most critics with a diesal but still mess about with lack of transmision choice. Thankfully The V6 is from what I can make out the only one without a manual gear box, but that puts the final nail in the coffin for the IS in my view. I will not be getting one!! The idea of a 2.5 sounds great, but not an automatic!!

    As I stated earlier, Im not overly impressed. Its grown on me but there is just something that looks missing, the grill just looks to small and the front bumper looks to bubbly. Side looks nice and the rear has also grown on me but I still prefer the mark I IS. All in all, mixed opinion but think my next purchase will be in a year or two will the the next GS. Not won over by the interior either, a little bland. Well thats my first "official opinion" hope others will not feel the same. Would be awful if it flopped!! Although the diesal will prevent that.

    Funny that Black and Granite colour seems most common. Took me ages to find one and even my local dealer struggled to source either Granite or Black. Must admit, Granite sky would have been my second choice if I didn't eventually find an Astral Black. :P

    Worst part of the car is the rear. Looks like a BMW 5 series. Horrible, and they should never get rid of what put the name Lexus in the UK dictionary. The rear clear cluster lights. Shame on you........ :yack:

    Them xenon bulbs I bought from ebay have been great, no problems at all. Really pleased with them. For little more than a tenner, try em.

    The more I see the car with the current pictures in circulation the more im very dissapointed!! Front angle looks ok, side looks nasty and the rear is hideous. Have Lexus ran out of insperation or something??!! :duh: Hope its not the real deal. :shutit:

    According to Autoexpress the reviews they have done on various products they didn't give the Merguires a very good rating. Said it was over priced and does not perform as well as the price would suggest. Turtle wax from what I remember got a better conclusion.

    Exterior gotta be black for me, interior though you might find that all black may be a little dark. Black always looks good on SUVs and infact, most cars!! Well in my opinion!! :P

    If the place Aido mentioned in Nottingham is the smae place I had mine done (Which I think it is) He's really good, nice to deal with and gave some LOC discount. Few miles away from you though.........

    Using a DVD shrink decripts it anyway. I've just downloaded one the other day. Try www.dvdshrink.org/ Quick to use and easy as childs play!! Hope this helps. :D + R format has more support from the major manufactures.
