  1. Steve, Can I clarify, my IS's sat-nav is VCD, are you looking at the new IS which is DVD or modding the original VCD unit to be DVD, I caught the new DVD sat nav the other day at the dealer and was really impressed, the data it holds is great. Andy
  2. I'd love to see the new pics, definitely if you can attach them I'd be interested for a look, my wife is looking at buying an RX what do you guys think of them? Andy
  3. Pic looks great Matt, can't wait for Bonzai next month, I think there will be a run at W.H.Smiths, does anyone know the release date is it end of Sept or early Oct? Andy :bounce:
  4. Better raid the piggy bank :tumble::smug::tumble:
  5. Hi, Haven't heard anything yet, will ask my friends at Lexus. Has anyone else heard anything ??
  6. I agree, the one in London was probably in really bad condition, scratched from parking on the road all night and not well taken care of, yours is new and you know the complete history. They are truely great cars and I'm sure like the rest of us, you will find it gives you huge amounts of fun and enjoyment mixed with a great deal of pride. Andy :bounce::bounce::D:bounce::bounce:
  7. I've never experienced any problems with the airbag warning lights, it should certainly be looked at by a dealer. I'm also interested to hear your comments on Lexus Hatfield, I'm looking for a good southern Lexus dealer, gave up on MK, haven't tried Edgeware yet. Andy
  8. I have never found any problems with my sat nav, it is the Lexus supplied model built into the IS200, it is always really accurate and the only issue I've ever found is that there is no way to set it to take advantage of major and minor roads to achieve the fastest route to a given location. It is usually very accurate, perhaps their's needs callibrating. Andy
  9. My friend at work just bought a TT, he was really proud till he parked next to my IS down the pub one day, later that day he asked me to take him out for a spin and since has been wishing he could have an IS. The level of equipment is far better, much more refined, more reliable and practical. I'll stick with my IS. Andy :bounce::bounce::bounce:
  10. Happened again last night, driving out of London on my way home, I was moving along quite swiftly and came upon a 325i, as I was passing it he did the usual and speeded up, so I simply dropped it a gear and the IS took off (that 4500rpm band is so nice) anyway he clearly wasn't pleased and took up the chase. I kept well in front around the lanes and then pulled up at the lights. The BMW driver however flew through the lights hitting his horn and with a big grin on his face. The smile however was on mine as the traffic camera flashed twice getting what must have been a lovely image of hi smiling backwards as he got caught !!!! Love it when a plan comes together
  11. All, Just wanted to say thanks for the arrangements on getting us all in the fields at JAE, good to see the Club had a great spot and great turnout. Looking forward to the next one . Andy
