  1. Mr Cuba Your blank templates don't seem to work... the jpg doesn't open up in any programme and the other one opens up in Photoshop looking like a checker board Or is it operator error?
  2. Quickest way is go in to your local DVLA office, fill in the form and pay your money over the counter
  3. The quality of the alloys is about the only thing that give cause for concern. When I was at the dealers Tuesday just gone there were another two guys coming in for replacements under warranty - 2 year old RX and an IS almost 3 years old coming for his SECOND set
  4. This'll be interesting to see if they concede on the warranty - I'll open the floodgates to half the users on this board.....
  5. I thought so, but the women I spoke to was really quite rude and put the phone down before I'd finished. It wasn't Beth or the other normal lass. I'm getting really despondent with them! ← I'm surprised - Faye and the new lady Linda have been really helpful to me over all this trouble I've been having with the body shop.
  6. Friend of mine (who had a cast) got around the problem by fitting on of those small wheel type thingies to his steering wheel, could steer easliy by gripping it with one hand. I'm sure it was legal too. Think you can get them from the motability type places

  13. On the IS300, which tyres wear quicker - front or rear (under normal non-boy racer) driving? I have done 8,500 miles, fronts have 7mm and rears 6mm tread. Should I swap them over to get even wear? Rear to front diagonally? Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 225 x 40 x 18 92Y
  14. Getting one fitted Saturday for £150 inclusive. Looks much more user friendly than Clifford BlackJax as it uses a concealed button rather than a PIN code each time you start the car or open a door. JT Auto Security 0115 989 0406
  15. U serious?? So you can carry your insurance details in the glove box if you like? Thaks pretty cool! The GARDAI over here are :tsktsk: when it comes to things like that. ← Durhhh! Any idiot who keeps his docs in the govebox is begging for his Lex to disappear....

  18. Point taken....thanks Would be grateful for any feedback from any other members who have experienced similar problem.
  19. When Lexus Nottm were replacing one of my alloys under the warranty (the O/S front), the tech noticed a small "bump" in the side of the tyre wall that he brought to my attention. It is very small, maybe 8mm in diameter and protrudes out about 2-3mm. Tyres are Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 225 x 40 x 18 Over the past 2-3 weeks I had been aware of a small "slapping" noise coming from the O/S front, like something was stuck in the tread. I checked the tyre several times but couldn't see anything. So it seems like the slapping noise must have been as a result of the small bump? The wheel has never been kerbed or potholed. The tyres are only 14 months old, 8,500 miles and have about 7-8mm of tread left. Lexus told me that the only way I can get a replacement under warranty is to buy a new one and have it fitted. They would then send the faulty tyre to Pirelli who would check it and would only refund me if they found a manufacturing defect. This all sounds like a pile of bull :tsktsk: Where do I stand here under the warranty?
  20. Ladies & Gentlemen, My good lady, Prisca, is due to take her practical driving test on Friday. This is after almost 200 hrs of lessons and a $hit loada money. Please wish her all the luck in the World! Thanks, Mike
