  1. Hi Fidgets, missed your review a couple of years ago, what was it you did not like about the RX300. Baz
  2. :o Blimey, must be quite a lot of Lexus drivers who don't like him, do you think the orders were shoot on site.
  3. Typical Clarkson slagging off Lexus, has he ever said anything good about a Lexus, what is he talking about with his plastic looking Volvo Diesel getting more mpg, the fact that its a chug chug you would expect more. He's quite entertaining though, just don't take him seriosly.( XC90) what a poor choice.
  4. Hi Terry, took your advice and had them fitted by 4x4 only charged £25 to fit which i thought was very reasonable, have to say they look fantastic, thanks for the advice. Baz
  5. :D Sami, i hope after all this info you enjoy your trip and you have sorted your wheels.
  6. :duh: I'm with you harlowrog, what has a BMW 7series to do with a RX300. Seems a strange comparison.
  7. Ehhh...lost me...team ??? (not hard to do according to my wife).. ← :duh: That was a joke, well almost. Manchester Utd, Fergy being the manager, i can tell your not a footy fan Fergy
  8. :) I get the same as Fergy, while i'm on sort your team out Fergy!
  9. :D I've had six new Lexus in six years, can't say i have ever recieved any champers or flowers, but i do tend to do a deal on purchase, perhaps thats why. Did go to one of there casino evenings last year and the champers and canapes were free all night so can't really complain. A boqeut of flowers for the wife would be nice though.
  10. Auto a must ???? Surely more like a luxury...that adds to the gas guzzling ?? :P Why I end up with a 4x4 (which is actually front wheel drive till it detects slip and then changes to power the rear wheels...or so I was told)..cos I wanted one.. ← If you have ever drove in London you will understand why I went for the Auto - Its a must in my book! Yours is exactly the attitude I was on about - Ok you wanted one, not a problem - but this is what the taxation is trying to curb, you don't actually need one (a 4 x 4 SUV that is) Anyhow I don't really care - I don't pay the car tax!!! or petrol come to think of it :P :P and double :P :P ← DJ Gee, i find your comments a bit sad, dose'nt your Labour controlled job allow you to drive a 4x4 suv in there budget. I think that you should be allowed to own and drive a 4x4 suv and not be told by some jobsworth what we should drive, by the way i drive in London, and yes my car is auto because thats what i choose, not as you say a must just because you drive in London. Have a nice day.
  11. Well put Rillo, i am so bloody angry about this, i can't believe that only a few people have posted on this, why do they just accept it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. :P Mario, it came out 2 years ago, where you been, can't see them changing it for a few years yet.
  13. Hi Guys, went gold last week expecting better debates!!!!!! can't believe no one has got back about this issue, this is a fact its going to happen, are you happy to accept this! i thought that you would have serious issues about this, obviosly not. I suppose you think that what the car costs another £200 a year don't matter, well it does to me .
  14. Has no one else got an opinion on this disgraceful tax!!!!!
  15. Just read todays N. O. T. World and thought it must be April 1st, as from next year the Goverment have decided that us 4x4 owners must pay up to £200 a year extra tax for that privalage. Fantastic! who was it who voted these idiots back into power.
  16. I know the RX300 has a button marked "text"...only CD I ever found with it encoded was the Savage Garden "affirmation" (wife's CD..) Pain that more record companies don't add the necessary info to the cd. ← Thanks for that Fergie, wondered what that text meant
  17. Will do Mike, hope i don't get caught up in the petrol demo's
  18. Without sounding too negative the Lexus boot liner is a kinda plastic liner which won't sweat like the rubber one, which could affect the carpet beneath. I was lucky, I had a mate who was trading his IS200 in for a Scooby, so he gave me the Lexus boot liner. Still, would I pay £100ish for it - nah !! ← Just seen bootliners for the mark 2 RX on 4x4 .com for about £40. still not got my Gold Membership up yet, c'mon boys, can you sort it.
  19. :D Hi guys, driving up to the midlands on wednesday to have some chrome side bars fitted, can't post them on the site yet as my Gold Membership not come through yet, can't wait though. Baz
