  1. Nice car, good to hear that someone actually likes the car and don't keep moaning about it. Its a fantastic car much better than the opposition, c'mon Rx drivers praise your car don't keep finding fault with it.
  2. Just a thought, is there anybody out there who is happy with there RX.
  3. Can't believe your selling after 3/4 months, is it cause you are unhappy with the car
  4. Hi Martin, don't know if your aware but the rear seats are ajustable so it could be the car you tried had the seats forward. If you slide the seats back you will find you have more enough leg room, check it out.
  5. :winky: Realspeed Appreciate your comments but if you read my previous post you'll see that the car still lurches even in manual, regardless of the gear selected, also, as Damian points out you literally have to only breath on the throttle pedal and the car will lurch. It's a real pain and you find yourself unconciously tensing-up in anticipation of whats coming. I'm certainly not a 'lead foot' driver but to have a throttle pedal as sensitive as this is unsatisfactory. I think its simply a case of the gearbox selecting first gear when it should be selecting, or remaining in second. I've found that the ECT SNOW mode is the only way to work around the problem at the moment, but this is not something I want to be doing as a long term solution to the problem. The car is faultless in every other respect and I would still recomend others to buy this car if it were on their shopping list. The dealer service in my experience is second to none. Mike :) ← :winky: Well said Mike, must say i really never noticed the lurching until this posting, but yes the car does lurch in low gear at low speed when you put your foot down.
  6. Like JohnRX, we had a Mk1 with audio bleepers and now have a Mk2 with the camera to rely on. Takes a while to live without the bleep but the camera is good, even in low light and we learning to trust it with use. I imported my car direct from Japan earlier this year and one of the bonuses is that it comes equipped with 3 cameras- the additional ones being in the L on the grill, and in the passenger door mirror - helps save your wheels when parking. Don't know why it's not on the export models; Bugsy. ← Did your car come with any other extras Bugsy.

  8. Hi try this. TELEPHONE Settings in car, Go to settings, scroll down to transfer phone data. Go to phone book on mobile, select name, options, send via bluetooth, searching, send to car. Hope it works for you. ← Also, i should add that i could only enter one name and number at a time with a Nokia, where as you can enter the whole phone book in one go with a Sony Erricsson so i'm led to believe.

  10. Just checked the radio on my RX300SE it definantly has LW just press AM then press AM again and it goes straight to LW, not that i would ever use it. All that extra money and no LW ON THE 400h what ever next.
  11. :) :) That explains why you want a roof spoiler! not seen any advertised anywhere i'm afraid, sorry.
  12. :D I had it fitted on my last RX, when i changed cars in May they quoted around £420 supply and fit to my new RX, I agreed to have it done but as i had changed my cell to a Samsung D500 i was informed the day after the sale that they do not do cradels for this cellphone. Not ther fault, also saved me £400+.
  13. :P :P Insisted one be fitted f.o.c. when i done the deal for my RX300 SE. Lexus Woodford only to happy to oblige.
  14. :P Thats ok, but it does not charge the phone or increase the signal strength.
  15. :P :P I had the same problem with RX300 SE it's all to do with how they spell "complimentary", i thought it might have been standard on the 400H, very misleading though, let us know what happens.
  16. Thanks for that, but it looks like they only supply the mk 1 model
  17. :P The phone cradles are interchangable, but your dealer needs to know what phone you have to insure you have the correct one fitted on delivery. There are only certain cradles that Lexus supply but the Nokia 6230 is one that they do supply so you should be ok. At Lexus Woodford delivery was 1-2 days but i would suggest you contact your dealer a.s.a.p. Also ensure your dealer goes through the Bluetooth with you as it could be a bit trickey to use first off, good luck. ← Gazman, did you get your phone cradlle sorted. Something i forgot was that the phone holder comes the same colour as your leather,(mine did) and the interchangable cradle comes in black, i had the same phone as you and then changed it for a Samsung D500 only to be told they do not do cradles for D500 good phone though works well with the Bluetooth, so be carefull and check with Lexus that they do the new cradle if you change your mobile.
  18. :winky: I fitted some plastic chrome handle covers i picked up off Ebay a few weeks ago, they look really cool, i was wondering if anyone has the door mirror covers fitted or know where to get them. I would like to see a picture of them fitted first.
  19. :D Somewhere to put your feet up while your driving.
