  1. Well, its hardly suprising but still very annoying and corrupt.
  2. How s**t is that? Recorded at 157mph and was found not guilty of speeding. Just because they are the police, doesn't mean they don't have to abide by the law like everyone else (without good reason of course). It makes me very annoyed when they can get away with things like this.
  3. I keep a small one in my car, which would have done the trick initially. Just when it was starting, you could have easily put it out with a small squirt from one of those. They just all seemed to stand there and watch it though.
  4. :o Amazing what can happen just from a small lick of flame.
  5. Hmm, things that annoy me when driving... My mother sitting in the passenger seat. My ears hurt by the time the journey has finished.
  6. I use PC-Cillin. It does the job excellently without being too intrusive. Its also quite cheap.
  7. I call mine Alex (as in a lex) or the GXE.
  8. Pretty sketchy stuff! :o Lesson learned folks, don't accept tows from Germans.
  9. Yes, I typo'd it. Sorry about that.
  10. Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire. Website here
  11. 18's will be no problem. Im also pretty sure that 19's will go on fine too, just make sure the offset matches.
  12. So, will anyone be going? Im right near there so I'm pretty sure I will.
  13. During my shop around for one, I came accross one with 80k on it - and the condition was fantastic. The engine was mint too and everything still felt satisfying. Basically, choose on condition. You would probably be better off paying more for one in better condition, rather than lower miles.
  14. Its because Americans are too lazy to keep adjusting their seats!
  15. I know people like to fit lexus lights to small cars but I think thats taking the concept a little too far.
  16. Haha, Ill be sure to look out for it. ^_^
  17. Aye, I'll certainly be coming along to the next local meet. I live in Stratford-upon-Avon at the weekends, and Birmingham in the weekdays (university) but I won't have the car with me then. I would have really loved to be able to make it to the Track Attack, but I think i'll be a little busy this weekend. Off to take c couple of pics now. Ill post them up in a few minutes. Edit - Here we go: Yes, before anyone says anything, I know we need a new driveway.
  18. Picked her up today. She's a 1999 IS200 SE with 32k on her. I just couldnt stop smiling the whole drive back! :) Im so happy i just can't put it into words. I'll put up some pictures a bit later when I find my camera. Next stop: Gold member Stop after that: 1 or 2 cosmetic mods... If I can scrape together enough cash. :D
  19. Your best bet woud be to use a heat gun or hair dryer. That should soften up the sticky stuff, then you should be able to carefully peel it off. Once it comes off, use meths or a similar remover to get rid of the left over crud it leaves.
  20. I think better pictures would be better, the ones in the dark probably don't do it justice. Its the crap he's written about it like Colin said that puts me off it. Oh, and that grill looks like he made it at home out of chicken wire :P
  21. Maybe an Altezza then? More power, more potential for tuning and the same basic car. They do it in 6 speed manual don't they?
  22. How about: http://i.waper(blocked word)/1cupd.jpg http://www.japcar(blocked word)/autowallpapers/toyota..._1024x768_1.jpg http://www.japcar(blocked word)/autowallpapers/toyota..._1024x768_3.jpg A couple of them do say Altezza on them, but you should be able to cover that up easily.
  23. is that your trueno? ← Unfortunately not. I am hovever saving to buy a Levin or Trueno next year to use as a track car.
