    I will be surprised if they do.... not been out that long and it has a different type of gear box (CVT). I think they will leave it alone...just my opinion mind.

    What about waiting a few months... RX350 will be out early'06 and that might be another car worth considering ??? Especially with 270bhp and supposidly better economy than the RX300's...

    When you say vertical net - which four points does the net anchor with ? Tony ← Vertical sits at back of boot, right against tail gate...and only goes up about the height of a bottle of coke.... no use to stop anything higher.... though very handy to keep carry out food upright :D

    mmm...let me see.... 1. Cost...much cheaper. 2. No pulling out stereo. 3. Portability from car to car. 4. Ok not CD quality but still not half bad.

    I have both cargo nets from Lexus (Horizontal and vertical) and neither will be any use for what you're wanting... Pet barrier might be a better bet, BUT, not sure how effective it will be at stopping cases etc hitting you/passanger in back of head if you carshed. I personally never load up past back of seats. Possibly raising the rear headrests to highest position might also help give a bit more of a barrier ?

    BMW scum...that not a bit harsh ?? Personally I don't believe in all the crap about the stereo typical drivers of BMW etc... seen as many bad drivers in other makes as in BMW's.

    "New" RX350 now meant to be coming in early 2006..... oo dear, there goes the resale on my RX300.... ......well even more than it's already dropped..

    You can get the VW DSG gear box on diesels...my dad is actually looking a one in a golf. Guessing you can get the same gearbox in a passat ?? Read lots of execellent reviews on the DSG gear box. Might be one to consider ?...though have no idea of price.

    Stereo definitely not up to the standard you'd expect for the money. I've heard the one in the SE-L and it is much better than in my SE....pity they don't offer that as an upgrade option on all models, it is one that I would have gone for...

    Wonder what other changes they'll also do.. maybe include; - 6 speed gear box ? - CVT gear box ? - Stereo with input for iPOD ? - Face vents that you can shut off...now that would be very nice...

    I just use a permanent pen to mark the CD's and so far no issue.. hard/ impossible to tell at what point CD-R's become good enough to use. Maybe on the RX350 they'll sort it so it will take an input from an iPOD etc...and then no need of CD's at all. Also hoping they dump the cassette deck part, not used a cassette in the last 3 cars I've had.

    do they have to prove is the question...if it is stated not to use CD-R's then that is possibly all they need. Besides which if they are the ones dismantling your CD changer how will you know if it was normal or a copied CD that caused the issue... guessing they will always say it was the copied one..?

    I was warned by my dealer when I collected my car not to use burned CD's... I was warned that they've had issues with them sticking and when they take it apart is you've amy copies in the changer you have to pay the bill.

    If you're chucking up that much gravel a set of mud flaps might be a good start...they'd maybe catch some of the stones from going down the side of the car...

    I added mudflaps and as you drill into Plastic I could not see any issue.

    not the reply that your probably wanting but...... YUK !!!!! Why on earth would anyone stick that one a RX400h ??

    I use the iTrip with and sound quality is fine... think it is very dependant on gettting a nice clean station. Also I can plug in and charge the iPOD whilst running the iTRIP ??...never heard of not being able to charge whilst using the iTRIP.

    I doubt it... different head lining at back to accomodate the motor required, guessing load of differnt wiring on the loom etc etc... Then again nothing is impossible...if enough time and ££ is willing to be spent. Might be best to ask the dealer, they'll probably have a much better idea on what bits are required...and cost...
