Just caught the police car out of the corner of my eye and looked over to see the wounded Tezza. Really sorry for you mate, did think of turning around but decided that the Feds may object to me joining in so just carried on. Can you not buy the car back off the insurance and have the engine, box and ECU out of the car and just drop it into a Tip :D Totally agree with you, the accident happened in a bendy road, pretty much on a blind spot with heavy traffic, if any car to stop it will cause a pile up. the police took ages to arrive which made few motrists to turn around and stop over to see if I am ok, but when the polic e arrived they were forced to move. Regarding the engine, ecu and gearbox will see how much they will offer me to buy the car back :)

Insurance company will contact me tomorrow morning. will see what they will offer me. MacRS200: yep, thats where it all happened. Hi all, This is to let you know that I have crashed my tezza on the way home from work on 27th (Thursday) during the thunder storm , I was driving down the A10 coming from herts going towards London when I hit a big buddle of water at 50 mph causing the back end to come out and spin 3 times and head towards the trees knocking few of them out. I am glad that no one else was involved and I am ok. Police arrived after 40 mins thanks to my hidden location between the trees. Car was towed away by the police ( front suspension was f****d rims were buckled. car was taking to a garage for repair estimate and was told it will be (write off). i am waiting for the insurance company to sort it out. for the mean while I was considering my options: 1- use import company like Newera and import fresh Manual tezza. 2- consider UK stock and buy locally. here are the pics :

I agree, same here I noticed some improvement, I commute to work everyday covering 50 miles. I guess is somthing to do with our 3sge engines

the video is from Saudi Arabia, its quite popular underground sport. a lot of kids died when the drivers lost control and went into the crowd. simple idea, put 2 to 3 people in the back seat of underpowered car, drive fast, full lock eaither way and off you go drifting at 120 km/hr cars they use nissan altima, gloria, toyota camry etc

A01A, I guess tiptronic versions didnt come with LSD unless was added as an option.

I found mine on ebay, took the seller with me to lexus dealer to check it out, pointed out few minor problems and managed to get a good deal at the end :D

@ mus26c, why does it have to come from Japan, AFAIK it is a standard Toyota part. Like I said above mine only took a couple of days to arrive. you correct mate, I got a phone call from them at 5:30 pm and asked me to collect it on Saterday morning. :D

I am planning to change my cambelt by end of next month and I just been qouted £ 26.70 for Cambelt which has to be ordered from japan, Call Japarts on 08450 66 44 22. I asked for tensioner bully and I was qouted 3 different prices tensioner bully for £ 37.76 Main tensioner bully for £ 75 last tensioner for £ 44.45 Can anyone confirm If I need to replace all three or just replace the main one?

Some f :tsktsk: B****d tried to break into my car last night around (4am), those scumbags are p****g me off big time, neighbour told me this afternoon he saw the perpetrator and he thinks is druggy looking for anything to salvage. I went to the Police and reported it, I got my reference number. To be honest my area is becoming a rough area, last three weeks 3 cars were smashed on my road, and I thought living with 4 brothers will scare anyone from doing it, and I guess I was wrong.
