Ventilated Seats

Recommended Posts

The new IS300h Advance I'm waiting for has heated ventilated seats.

I assumed this just meant that the leather had holes in it. Is that the case? Or is there something else as well - have I read about cooling?

Thanks

Ventilated seats is just a fan under the seat that blows air

through hols in the seat, so you have to wait until the air in the car is cold
before you get cold air coming through, cooled seats take the air straight from
the air conditioning system, I believe only found on the LS.

Two fans in the current IS seat design. One in the centre of the base and another one at the top of the seat back. When you have the speed setting on high you can hear the fans when you aren't moving and the engine has cut out.
