Carista and System menu on Nav screen

I last used the Carista app when I purchased my CT back in 2013.

I thought I'd have another look at the app today  for any new options and was surprised to see that my Nav screen popped open with these System options that I've never seen before.

Has anyone else come across this and any ideas on what the items in orange with CHEK refer to?

What model carista do you have,do you or can you leave it plugged in , have you go the Iphone app as well, I was thinking of buying one since by my ct a week ago to play around with the options, can you change things like when you put electronic parking brake on it in locks door, then when put it drive it locks door, which I like but do not want it un locking when brake engaged , is the port below steering wheel on left, do you have to remove the panel

just make sure the adapter is compatible with carista as many of the elm327 are not compatible.

you will need the full version of carista to alter the dealer customisations,i had to use the app

earlier this year to reset the airbag system when an ambulance (skoda octavia) rolled back into me

and set the warnings lights / messages off.

its a really useful app to have with you ,and don't forget you are not paying for access to just lexus

the customisations are for any vehicle that supports the dealer options.

wayne

just a warning if you keep your keys in your pocket like i do.

when i had the window option enabled and without knowing i put all

my windows down luckily for me it was a hot day ,but some owners

haven't been so luckly and its happened in winter time and they've

ended up with wet seats.if lexus change the setting they will ask you

if your sure you want it enabling as they have had many complaints

regarding windows being opened unknowingly ,this is why the option is off as std.

I cannot understand why , as you have to hold the button on the remote for such a long time, I was more worried about the Battery going flat on the key fob than wet seats ! Unless I am doing something wrong
