i am thinking about buying a 1 day subscription to lexus-tech.eu service to download the workshop manual and others i feel are of interest

has anyone else paid for this service ,if you have do the downloads take ages,is it worth the money ( about £16)

You aren't able to download. You could take screenshots etc. but technically that would be theft.

oh..... i thought you could download them as i have viewed the hotspot installation and user guide with a pdf reader and they can be downloaded.

Most of the paid for access is only viewable online during your subscription. Some of the earlier documents could be downloaded, many years ago, but not the current vehicles.

Makes sense really, otherwise people would only ever pay for 1 hour access and never return and the documents would end up being freely pirated on the web.

I have used both lexus-tech.eu and toyota-tech.eu in the past, albeit only for schematics. Needed to find a suitable place to tap into the wire looms to power the dashcam, GPS-tracker etc :-)

Bought a 1hr subscription, and that was enough time to find my way through the UI and find the info I needed. For the schematics there is (or was, a year ago) a "Download as PDF"-option for all pages/topics. I never checked the workshop manuals, they might very well be different as Colin point out.
