Vsc/vsc Off/engine Lights On

Hi, I have ES300 '99 with 105k on it. Recently, VSC / VSC OFF / Check Engine lights appeared on the dashboard and would not go away. When I turn the key into the ignition position, there are several clicking noizes seeming to originate from the location of the right front wheel. I am guessing there is a problem with VSC. Did anyone have similar experiences?

Thanks!

Alex

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago on my 78,000 mile vehicle.

The next day, all the lights were off. I still took it to the dealer,

and they replaced the throttle sensor. Now, 1 week later the

VSC & VSC OFF lights came back on, but the CEL remained off

this time. The next day the lights were off again. I'm thinking

it might be a humidity or dampness problem, as both times the

car had parked in the rain for several hours, and the lights came

on during the first time driving it after it got wet. I don't know

if the car has a history of this happening, as I've only had the

car 3 weeks (bought it because my wife said I needed a more

reliable car than the Cadillac I'd been driving, I'd say its not

off to a good start on first impressions!).

Hello, did you ever get an answer to this problem? I have an ES300 '99 with 104k on it and the same happened to me. They say it is the charcoal canister valve. I am in the US so I do not know if it has the same name in the UK. I get it changed next week. I will let you know if it fixes the problem. Let me know if you got your issue resolved please.

Thanks,

Vicki
