This afternoons mission,cheap Chinese camera and screen from Wish £15 plus £5 postage,good bit of kit for the money,i dont think i have ever used the makeup mirror and light so away it went

Looks good. Do you have to switch it on when reversing or does it do it automatically when reverse is selected?

Taped into reverse light wiring,screen and camera,so only powers up when they do

Well done. Looks a very neat job and a handy gizmo to have on a big LS.  My only reservation is with the words "cheap Chinese". I hope you keep a fire extinguisher in the car. (I'm not joking).

I put one in my Last LS400, a cheap Chinese job, and it was excellent, crystal clear, and very easy to install.

You can't run power from the Vanity light itself which would only come on when you pull the Sun Visor down and open the vanity mirror?

Gents,yes easy to install if your that way inclined,air saw/pencil die grinder/step drill/power tools/insulated terminals/soldering iron/etc etc

I ran the wiring along the top trims above the o/s doors,followed the sunroof drain into the boot,spliced into red/black (reverse light) and black (earth) all the boot trims had to come out as well. i put a couple of 50 w LED reverse bulbs in while i was there too
