Mpg better reading

Hi Darklex,

Can we have some more information on how you drive at the moment. What type of roads, what speeds, what mode is the car in etc.

Doing 70+ mph on the motorway will not help mpg. It's best at about 50 on A roads or round town.

I find Normal mode best.

Try to let the car glide to a stop rather than braking. Smoothness and anticipation are the key.

Like PaulWhitt20 just said, we need a bit more info.  Are you possessed with a heavy foot?  Read ahead on the road so you can anticipate when to accelerate and when not just let the car drift to a halt.  I think the term is 'Pulse-and-Glide'.

Thanks guys,  I was driving on motorway  on dry sunny days.  But I don't think it's to do with the condition in this instance.  As found out how to zero reset the mpg counter. This is in the little display for average mpg and average speed and now the mpg reading is 61.0 sometimes higher when driving.  I just got the car so I a bit new to driving a hybrid.

Thanks for your help..
