Clay bar cleaning??

A friend has given me a "clay bar".....he said it gives a "mirror" finish,.....has anyone used one??

always dubious about something I know nothing about when it comes to the car 🙄

I have used them, removes all the crap from the paint in preparation for polish and wax, that's about the extent of my knowledge on them.

I am sure someone will be along shortly with a much better and detailed explanation.

I use one every 3-4 months. It'd very easy to use and creates a fantastically smooth finish before I re-apply the Armourshield. I use it in small bits, rather than the whole block. It also works on the wheels to get the crud off
