IS Three likes/dislikes

[IS300Hdriver]

Likes:

1) Looks fantastic

2) Reliability

3) Rare sight

Dislikes:

1) Plasticky centre console that scratches easily (makes cracking noises if you lean your leg against the sides or when you go over bumps), general cheap plastics all around, not what you'd expect for a premium car, this is where the Germans excel.

2) Infotainment system is ancient, ridiculous for a Japanese car, Sat Nav looks old and has very odd routing vs current sat navs/google maps, so glad I got the car used and didn't have to pay for this

3) Ride is far too firm for a non-sport model through town, affects the relaxing drive you "should" have with the Hybrid CVT box

Reliability

Different from the usual BMW's / Audi's - amazing how many people in  management got Audi's / BMW's / Mercs as company cars alone !!

Specification - mines a Executive while not top spec and would of loved some other features that's on higher spec but still well equipped !!

Dislikes:

No spare wheel - of course it's a hybrid so guess win some lose some....

Hidden exhaust - unlike 250 / 200t, can't see the exhausts !! guess that will change soon !!!

Speedometer dials surround doesnt light up when you hit 60/70mph !! - It did in my old IS250 once it hits 50/60 the speedometer surround lit up green and then 70mph lit up orange - looked like a cool feature IMO especially night time !

Likes :

Reliability - bombproof  - its gots to be yeah

Twin exhausts - It looks the business

It turns heads.

Performance - I dropped down to this but its everything I need.

Fuel consumption - on a run nearly 50MPG

Dislikes:

fuel consumption around town  - whatever

I don't use it enough
