Lexus is200 manual drive shaft work on a Lexus is300

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm wanting to swap my Lexus is300 from auto to manual but I've realised I will need a manual drive shaft, now living in Australia there are plenty of manual is200's around but every is300 in Australia was only made in automatic, just wondering if the is200 drive shaft would work for manual swapping the is300 and if not would there be anything else that would work?

As colin said it depends on gearbox choice. Ive converted my is300 to manual using a later r154 trans from a jzx100. Ive had to use a custom prop made by a company called the driveshaft shop in the states, mainly due to the power level im shooting for.

Believe me though the prop shaft will be the easy bit as there is a plenty of stumbling blocks along the way.
