I have just received an e-mail from Australia regarding the converter for the T.V. in the imported models.(Japan to UK) Is the screen in the RX model a RGB or composite type.

Any help would be welcome.

Well RGB is not an encoded signal so it's neither PAL or NTSC. However the screen only seems to sync at NTSC frequencies so you would normally convert an NTSC signal into RGB to drive the screen.

You will probably find a PAL 60 signal will convert and sync correctly.

That is the one that most people have been talking about in the last few weeks. Not sure if anybody has one fitted yet but yes it should do the job very well.

It cannot be directly connected to the cars power supply as it needs something like a 9V supply so you will need some kind of voltage regulator.
