Beside both driver and passenger seats, just below the Center console armrest in my NX Takumi there is the female part of a press-stud. Does anyone know what it’s purpose is?

Ok, forget that post. It’s obviously just the fixing for the panel. ☺️

Could have been made a bit more discreet from factory, but they may think it is needed to take off now and then.

Have not noticed it is the CT, but next time I go to it will have a look.

From memory, in the hard copy brochure I had they actually make reference to these as a ‘design feature.’

It must be hard to accept to have made a "design failure"

Hi All,

It is actually a "design feature" - in that those bolt heads are purely decorative.  Those panels are clipped on, i.e. you do not remove those bolts when removing the panels.  From memory, I think they are based on some bolts on the LFA??

Yep, that's correct, a design feature, a nod to the LFA.
