Buying A Lexus Is200

Hi guys

Went for a test drive in a IS200 SE yesterday, such a nice car but a couple of niggling things tho.

The cluch made a noise when it was left in netrual, this is no doubt the thrust bearing, but how much would it cost to have either the bearing or the cluch replaced. I also noticed the MPG scale was a bit lower than i would have liked, so whats your average mpg.

Apart from a few nasty stone chips, a scuffed bumper and about a 4 inch mark on the back seats, its lovely :) hopefully chips away should be able to sort the marks out.

I get around 22 to 25 mpg around town and 29 to 33 mpg on long runs, but it depends how heavy your right foot is !!!!!! (mines an auto, the manual supposed to give better figure around town)

can't say i get much better than that in my manual, but as you say, it depends on how heavy your foot is :P
