NX350H CarPlay audio delay

Hi, Just received my new NX350H 2022 and whilst using CarPlay and making a telephone call it was really bad, after using my daughter to stand by the front door on the call I was receiving a good 5 second delay before hearing her but she could hear me almost straight away. Has anyone else had this issue or has a fix/setting, I have tried to look and also reconnect the device (Iphone 12) and its also the same wired.

Hi, exactly the same problem, I get a normal call for one and a half minutes then a delay, this happens on every call and the delay gets longer as the call goes on, unfortunately it makes car play unusable, everything else works just the calls. I have switched it off and just use the Lexus system. I reported it to the dealer and put it on my Lexus UK feedback form but no response yet.

Also really annoying is the wireless charger which I also find unusable unless stationary, there is no rubber mat to stop the phone moving about the actual charger, also mentioned to dealer, he doesn’t know why they haven’t included it.

Both really annoying and certainly not expected in a £40k car!

Apart from that a lovely car.

Yes, I have experienced the same issue (long audio delay). Works ok with the usb cable, while we wait for a software fix.

Yes-  I am having the same problem in my car that got delivered last week.  It’s around 3 - 5 seconds delay.

I concluded the charger just doesn’t work with an Iphone 13 pro (even without a case) … I’ve had to plug in a mag safe charger which then works fine … but it is disappointing a brand new £60k car doesn’t work with a brand new Iphone.

Mine didn’t work but I had a magnetic shim in the back of my phone case for a mag mount.  It works fine after taking it out.  It’s quite a good one - fan cooled!

I experience this issue as well with the Iphone 13Pro and now 14Pro. Very annoying.

My Iphone 14 pro max works fine, as does the Iphone 12 pro max so not sure why the iphone13 is an issue?
