Promised shots of the interior. I won't be offended if you don't like it with the red exterior!

Really like that - and I think it looks great with the red exterior.

As I said, I've ordered the same, but with the Terrane Khaki exterior.  I fancied something different from the black interiors I've had for ages and having seen your pictures I'm looking forward to it even more 😃

Roll on February 🙄

Update on my NX 450h+ since collection on 1st September, four weeks ago.

Now covered 1,800 miles with a good mix of motorways, 'A' roads and rural roads in Scotland, England and Wales. Ignoring what the displays say, the fuel put in for the miles covered equates to 66mpg. Of course, I have put electric in too. Hard to say how much or at what cost as some charging done at home, some on paid for public chargers and some from a B&Bs domestic socket.

Naturally very pleased as I feel the mix of driving is very representative of the type of journeys I bought the car for. Very glad I didn't go all electric, the UK's charging network is still pathetic. I am running the car in so the figures are better than I expect in the future; especially as we head for winter.

I'm still learning about the car but am pleased with an average Driver Score of 88. Hoping for software improvements in the coming months, some much needed. The engine/transmission is a joy. The poor turning circle not so.

Malcolm, is the turning circle inferior to the previous series NX ?

I cannot speak from personal experience as I didn't own the previous NX but I was speaking to someone on Tuesday who had driven the old one and thought it did have a better turning circle. I don't have figures for the turning circle but in my view, the turning circle of the new NX is larger than any car that I have owned in the last 45 years.

Looks fab, love the colour! I hope that you are as happy with it as I am with mine. It really is a superb car.

Why did you leave Audi for the Lexus Matt?

I wanted a car higher up and easier to get in and out and Audi had no real interest to offer me a deal on a Q5, despite having 4 new cars in a row from them, so time for a change!

Thanks Matt. Enjoy the NX. Must have been quite a disappointment leaving Audi after 4 consecutives ?
