Mud flaps

Recommended Posts

I've just bought my first lexus, a 2019 IS 300h and am thinking of fitting a set of mud flaps.

They are about £90 for a set from Lexus or about £25 for a Chinese made copy from the likes of eBay and amazon.

I'm wondering if anyone has fitted the cheaper ones and whether they are a good fit?

Any views welcome. Thanks.

I have an ES and due to Lexus not supplying mud flaps I took a gamble with some Chinese ones from Aliexpress which were less than £15 delivered for the set, they fit perfectly, really pleased.

I always wondered if my mud flaps are detrimental to aerodynamics, and if so, how much... does anyone know ?

Probably, but to what practical extent I don't know. I can say that I haven't noticed any change in mpg since fitting my aliexpress ones.
