Hi All

I have a 2017 is300h with 75K miles on the clock. The interior of the windows is misting up a bit when I'm driving. I do have the air intake set to outside air. The aircon does clear the misting. Does anyone have any ideas on why it is misting up.

Thanks

Rob

If it is raining and you bring in water on your clothes/shoes etc then this would explain it.  If it does it in the dry then there may be something else to look into.

Pollen filter, if clogged would reduce the amount of fresh air entering.

Sunroof/Door seals/drain holes, if clogged could be causing excess water to get into the car.

Also leaves etc clogging up the air inlets/drain holes around the wiper area.

Air-condition is meant to keep temperature reasonable in summer and cabin dry in winter.

Never turn off air-condition.

We only use air recirculating when driving by one of the sea-water desalting plants (do not smell that nice), otherwise always air from outside.

Hi guys. Thanks for your replies. Much appreciated. Sorry for delay in thanking you. Unexpected hospital stay.

Hope it's nothing serious! As others have said - keep the AC on. I also recommend leaving one of these in the car if it's being left for a week or more - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00I3VKBJS
