Second Driver Profile

Can someone save my sanity and advise how to correctly add a second driver profile.  I have watched the Deep Dive YT video from North Side Lexus USA but I do not have the manual option on the head unit.  When I select "connect account" it prompts me to use the app to scan a QR code again which then removes the vehicle from the primary users account.

A thought ... make sure you are adding an account. I think 'connect account' will be for the main account so it will be overwritten if this is selected. Also, make sure your main account key is well out of range, preferably turn the fob OFF (Press the unlock button twice whilst holding down the lock button) to make sure the car doesn't get confused.

I scanned the QR code into second driver’s app/account. It added driver profile to screen in car but removed the vehicle from my app/account and add it to second driver as you say. Lexus send an email telling you that connected services have been removed from your profile. So I then removed the vehicle from second driver’s app/account, readded it to mine and replied to Lexus mail to confirm. Seams to have worked and now have secondary driver profile in the car.

Thanks, I'll double check what I'm pressing and follow the advice re the key and probably turn Bluetooth off on primary drivers phone.

Thanks Phil, could you clarify how you add the car back to the first profile since it seems to require the QR Code to be scanned again which isn't then presented on the head unit.

I have ticket raised with Lexus who have promised to provide instructions tomorrow.  I'll see what they say and report back.  If still no luck I'll try Phil's suggestion.

So no response from Lexus on Friday as promised, no response on Monday, rang again on Tuesday, spoke to Customer Service who poked Multimedia Support into sending an e-mail apology saying a response would be forthcoming today.  Then, last night we get an e-mail saying the car has been removed from the primary profile.  This morning I replied to Multimedia support asking if they had reset the account.  Yes, sorry, was the response and........apparently there has been a Pan-European Teams meeting today and one of the items on the agenda is a "fix" for the NX driver profile issue, but this will require a trip to the dealership to sort.  I'm now waiting for a call from Lexus Leeds...

I have just purchased UX250h Fsport deign. If I try to add my wife as a profile, it deletes my profile. She can only drive the car aa a Guest, which is upsetting. I was LED to believe you could have multiple profiles so more than one driver could be recognised, but I can not do this. Help anyone.

I have spoken again to Lexus, and they confirmed you can only have one main driver, all others will be guest. When I queried this, they said that they haven't had any problems
