A year on IS300H F Sport

Recommended Posts

A year on from purchase and I must admit I'm very happy with my F Sport IS300H.  No issues whatsoever.  I've clocked up about 5500 miles in the year and the car hasn't missed a beat .

Great on long runs , I get about 45mpg on motorway runs which I think is fantastic.  The FSport suspension and wheels can be a bit rough on bad roads but nothing major .

I bought this car as I wanted something different and reliable and I wanted to move away from diseal.  Overall I'm very happy .

Here's to another year or so of trouble free motoring 👍

I've had mine nearly a year & done 38k, taxiing, with out a murmur, from it.

Only issue has been the rear seat belt warning buzzer, which was eventually repaired under warranty, after the dealers tried fobbing me off.

Will definitely, be sticking with the Lexus brand for the forseeable.😊

Nice example after cleaning do any of you notice the IS gets dirty very quickly? Even more when it rains which is expected I guess during the winter months.

Have you experimented with fitting Mud guards a set can be purchased of eBay for approx £15-20. On a black car it wouldnt look too bad not sure on other colours. Keeping it looking clean for a llttle longer is always a positive.

Good to get your thoughts on this?

Mine had mudguards fitted when I bought it. As it was a silver car they were noticeable but I think they did help with keeping the dirt down.

I guess I will never know if the mudguards (mine has them) are detrimental to aerodynamics.... 🧐

Guesstimate at worst to the loss in 2-3MPG balances off with less time at the car wash.

Not to mention the satisfaction of having a cleaner car (until it rains of course) :teehee:
