Recommended Posts

My n/s headlamp get all misted up inside sometimes. Is is possible to split the plastic front glass from the case in situ, or does the whole lot need to come out?

Can you buy new headlamp glass (cos mines scratched)?

If you dont have a heat gun, turn your oven on, and place your lamps on a board or something, put them in for a few mins, and keep checking on them!

Thanks for that. I really didnt want to have to remove them if I could get away with it....... The prob is, there is residue on the inside which looks ******* when the lights are off, I wanted to give em a good buff up inside aswell as dry the bad one out, never mind, looks like a busy weekend ahead......................

Thanks anyway mate

using t cut or a bit of brasso helps remove scratches from the outside of the lenses. :)

If there is condensation on the inside it will just come back

I had the same thing with the mist and the sratches, as seen above. Use brasso on the sratches (takes ages) and they'll look good as new...

see sig :whistling:
