Does anyone know how long it takes to start building a new car

To start building? Could be 6-8 months depending on orders, parts supply etc..

It took me 12 months and three days before I got so much as a build month for the NX I have on order...and if it's awaiting shipping as we speak, it took 13 months finally get it built. 

I'd imagine your UX would be getting built imminently if the dealer are advising you delivery in September. They'll need to get it shipped out sometime this month I would have guessed - given the time it takes to get across to the UK. 

Unfortunately I can't comment on how the app operates. My outstanding order has never shown on it (just another bugbear to add to the long list of issues during this process...).
