Do you keep the aircon switched on?

Any sudden temperature drop in the weather can result in general moisture in the car condensing. The a/c will help dry the cabin air. Damp carpets from wet shoes can exacerbate the situation, as does damp clothing ...

Yes air con on permanently and I have no wet clothing or anything thing like that in the car, I know it’s probably from temperature variation, but it is very wet seems more than is normal. Is there and air vents into the vehicle that may not be clear and cause moisture buildup.

Do you use the car every day or just occasionally, I find with any car this happens during the winter months if not used regularly to get warm air flowing through the car.

After 20 hours investigating they have traced leak to the seals around the clips that hold the chrome strip across the roof that follows the b pillar.

all fixed now hopefully and car dried out

That's one I haven't heard of before. I'm hoping the 20 hours labour was covered under Relax!

Just checked mine but it's all black canvas 🙃

No not covered under relax, as they don’t cover seals as they are classed as degrading / wearing parts

but they did only charge me £860 including Vat

could have been thousands. But they charged me enough that I didn’t mind and kick up a fuss. As even if out of warranty seals/grommets should not deteriorate like that

That is a quality issue. It should be covered under the warranty surely. Yours is, what, 5 years old? Yes it's a seal but it's not exactly a moving part that would wear like an oil seal for example. Diagnosis would have taken time but the repair would have been a few minutes.
