Independent mechanic Essex

does anybody know of a great independent mechanic in the essex area. I’m having real problems getting rear reluctor rings replaced. My normal mechanic - who is usually excellent, has replaced a faulty one, but on reassembly there is a rubbing noise coming from that area, suggesting the ring is rubbing against the shroud/dust cover. I did see a post on the internet though, that said some models had slightly different outside diameter rings to others - 94mm, instead of 96mm. I would be grateful for any help. The alternative would be to fit a new or secondhand half shaft/rear axle, but my guy cannot remove the old one where it meets the diff.
