Sat Nav Problems

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have recently bought a T reg IS200 and have a problem with my sat nav screen. Its the same problem that Dario had where the screen keeps changing colour to red green yellow black and white. On altering the tilt it sometimes fixes itself. After reading the comments on his message I think i may have a problem with the mylar strip. Does anyone know how I can get to this strip and how to open up the screen if this is needed? Will I have to take this to a dealer to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks

Ashok

thanks Colin,

i think the dealer will be out of the question, i will probably just get stung on the price, does anyone know if its a tough job to get at the strip, and how it could be done? i tried fiddling around with it last night but couldnt access the back of the screen!

Thanks

Ashok

I've had this on mine. Its not a big job, just a little fiddley!

Just use your common sence!

First open the screen and have a look down on it from above, there is a pop off cover, under that there is two screws. undo them and as far as I can remember the whole screen and surround comes out as one. Remove the plug on the back and your away from there.

Hope it all goes ok, if your going to the pod on sunday, leave it til then and I'll show you how.
