Gps Navigation System

Im a new member and probably this has been covered a hundred times but couldnt find it anywhere but here goes

Got the japanese version of the gps nav system all the buttons are there its motorised can i get this converted to work in uk if so how? looks amazing even if dont work :D

Sorry to bearer of bad news... but that Sat Nav won't work for ***** here in the UK. You'll need a totally new setup....

Just picked up on this thread.

I have the original sat nav system in my RS200, has anyone looked into what hardware would need to be changed to get it working in the UK ??

Presumably the disk drive, and monitor will be common.

I'm guessing there is a seperate control module.

Any ideas how much for this new ?? If not I will ask Toyota.

If you need the new nav unit that would cost around £2000 from Lexus. You can pick them up on eBay now and again.
