Advice Re Purhase

ok everyone, ive managed to talk my dad round into buying a used lexus ls series.

he wants to spend between 13000 - 22000

he has had a look online and has seen one or two up close over here in florida and he wants to buy one when he returns to the uk in april.

any advice on which one to get in the above price bracket, i reckon if he pushes to the boat out he could get a decent 2000 model ls430 for 22000

what do you learned guys and gals reckon is the best buy for his money.

any help and advice much appreciated :D

I guess it depends want he wants in a car? Clearly the 430 has more toys but does he want them or can he justify them for the extra outlay?

when it comes to cars you can justify anything :D just be creative

he has managed to justify everything to my mum so the way is paved in every sense.

he just really needs convincing about which one is the overall better buy everything considered.

moneys not the problem its just is the 430 much better than the 400 and which would be better to own,drive and run day to day.

am i right in thinking that the 400 was discontinued in 2000 ?

yes the 400 stopped and the 430 came out around October 2000. Personally I would have the 430. Worth trying to get a test drive in both.
