need some advice!!!!

just been looking at an manual rs altezza .silver and on a 51 plate with 44k miles on the clock.

Cant see anything wrong with the car cosmetically, and it drives nice enough, but they want £12k with a years warrenty. Plus it doesnt have any japanese service history. is this a reasonable price? and how hard will it be to track down (if possible) the cars history?

and advice very much appriciated.

please be quick as im very tempted to buy and dont want to do anything stupid! :shutit:

Sounds like the one at Rix in Warrington, quite a few imports come over with no history... or at least they get lost en route from Japan..

i think it is a little over priced... but that is like all the cars at Rix ( if thats where it is...)

Hi all, :D I am looking to buy an altezza too and was looking through your website for 2 weeks, I must say its informative for noobs like me :tomato: ,

Since the model report is not out for the manual, i guess I will go for Tip one, I am on tight budget so any help in the right direction will be appreciated

One more thing I am 27 with 6 yrs NCB would like to know roughly how much will cost me to insure an altezza. Thanks in adavnce

If you are into your cars and well, not old at all (I'm 27!) - I think you'll be really looking for a manual. There are some in the UK that have been registered and so won't need model reports etc. Very much like when I was looking for FTO's a good number of years back. I couldn't find a manual and so test drove a tip. I really liked it and bouhgt it, but after a few months I was still gutted that I had a tip (luckily the missus bought a civic type r!) So Swore to myself NEVER EVER get a tip if you mind is set on a manual.

insurance (similar to you on my altezza is £670) with all mods declared and CAT 1 alarm (coilover suspension, legana/TRD bodykit, WORK's black/chromed wheels, Blitz induction kit and aftermarket exhaust)

Hope this helps...........pls test drive a manual first!
