Find Out Car's Details Using Ebay

eBay have just updated their Motors section, making it easier to fill in the details about your car. This also means that you can find out more about ANY car, just by filling in the registration number.

Orange used to offer this service for free on their WAP phones (M-Check), the info eBay gives is much the same (like a cut-down HPI check).

Here's how to do it:-

Go to eBay, click the Sell button, then click the Sell your item button.

Log in using your eBay ID.

Choose the Automotive category, then click Continue.

Choose Cars ->, pick ANY manufacturer, click Continue.

Enter the registration number to check, then click Continue.

Voila! Manufacturer, model, type, colour, year, date of registration, engine size, number of previous owners. Other miscellaneous details may also appear in the Item title.

Works with cherished plates too - shows the car it's on, not the car it's from!

Pretty cool, just had a snoop round some of my old cars, the BM coupe is on its 7th owner, so thats done the rounds
