Anybody help please. When I turn on the Air Conditioning in my 1994 Ls 400, the car loses power and the revs drop down very low and sometimes the car cuts out completely. This does not happen all the time, but quite regularily.

Anyone with same problem.Cheers.

Im no Aircon expert, sounds to me like its a sensor problem.

Normally when you switch the Aircon on,the engines rpm rises a few hundred to stop the problems your explaining.

It could also be a pulley or the pump etc nearly seizing up,causing drag on the engine.

Have a look through the USA forum, might be more info on there.

Cheers Chips.

Chips,

The rpm does rise and then it drops so low that the engine cuts out.

Do you have by any chance the USA forum address.????

Cheers
