Was out locally yesterday picking up a few odds and ends and had just left town to go home and came to a junction with a few parked cars around. Lo and behold some old timer in a Kag XK suddenly jumps and comes heading towards my front wing at speed with nowhere to swerve and my lad in the passenger seat i rammed on the anchors and prepared to sacrifice the front quarter, the screech of tryes came but no bump. Obviously relieved i got out and checked there was no contact at all. There must have been a maximum of 1/2" gap between my wing and the front of the Jag. Thought i best make sure if the old duffer was ok then i looked up and saw she was on a :tsktsk: ing mobile .

At this point i completely lost the plot i have nothing against hands free or people using phones on long straights with little traffic but in a crowded town centre i wish now i took the plate and phoned the police, mind you i think i may have scared her out of driving and into agrophobia :D

I once had a car from the opposite direction drift completely over to my side of the road so that it was driving straight at me. Sure enough the driver was on the phone. :o :iraqi-info-minister:

I agree ,i am sick of beimg behind people on A roads that constantly change thier speed up and down from 60mph to 40mph and so fourth only to find when i overtake they are chatting away on a mobile phone .i have even noticed this when they are on a hands free kit .they seem to get so into the conversation they forget all about their driving.
