Paul might be able to help you hes lowering his mk1.

Myself id go for the coilover option from Tein with the adjustable damper control from inside the car.....£1800ish at a guess

The ride height is also fully adjustable.

Cheers chips.

Hi Syd,

I got my springs from Alex in H/K, will lower by 30mm. I've got some 18" C5's to put afterwards, will let you know about the difference in ride once the work has been done.

Got a set of 265/35 x 19 on the rear and 235/45 x 19 on the front...handles like a dream...old roads a little lumpy, but the comfy seats make up the difference! I think I have standard shocks and bits...havent really looked...only had the car a few weeks.

No problems with rubbing. Rear wheels are about 1" up in the arch and the front just under. Only problem is that my exhaust (blitz nurspec) has only 2" clearance. Going to make a new decat pipe monday so can raise exhaust about 2".

Do you like the tints?
