don't worry about what i posted.. some news. .I can get a few sets of JE forged pistons (made for our car) and altezza conrod in Australia.

Seeing how many are interested in the UK.. if so maybe we can get a cheaper purchase... put you names down here if you are!

i know TDI supply the JE Pistons in the UK,whats the rough cost in Australia........i may well be intrested;)

well you remember the IS200-IS300 conversion? The twin turbo one?

I rang them up today asking about our engine internals and Ray Hall said our conrods are ***** weak.... size of our finger he said..

The story is he was going to do a turbo conversion for the IS200, he sent the pistons to America to be made up and ordered Altezza conrods from Toyot Japan.

But he scraped the project and went ahead with the supra swap.

Thus he now has around 8 sets of pistons & conrods for sale.. actually he is trying to get rid of them.

Price wise Im waiting for reply.. but he said the pistons should be around $1000 and pistons "a couple of hundred dollars"

so I would assume $1400-1600 AUD or 531.54-607.47 british pounds

The pistons & rods is A$1600, the conrod are second hand forged rod from IG-GTE.

im gonna purchase them soon to see if they are good quality. If it is i tell you guys.. not sure if the conrods would fit and if the pistons are good qaulity.. but there's gotta be a guinea pig...

yes, Ray Hall got them made by JE in America, as for the conrods they are from another toyota engine in the 1g engine family.
