Ls430 Suspension Problem

This problem occurred to me (2004 LS430) about about 7 weeks ago. The rear suspension was stuck on high and every little ripple in the road surface caused vigorous bouncing that practically knocked the wind out of me. Like another writer, I thought I was going to hit my head on the ceiling.

It turned out to be nothing wrong with the suspension or sensors. My Lexus dealership said it was a computer receiving a false signal. They reset the computer, charged me nothing (though I have had the car 7 years and have no extended warranty), and the car has had a like-new smooth ride ever since. This seems worth checking before spending money on new suspension or sensors.

Do all the 430 LS models have air suspension? Or is it fitted just to the premium pack?

As far as I know it's just the premium pack (which most are) that have air.
