Lotus Lexus ?

Recommended Posts

Just a snippet of info I read in a magazine last week.

I cannot remember which magazine I was reading but I seem to remember an article about a new Lotus GT model possibly being released soon and the suggested engine was the new Lexus 3.5 V6 tuned up to around 300 Bhp, I do not know how accurate this is ... food for thought ! :D

Would not sound to wild as Lotus already use some of the Toyota engines.

no.

Lotus wanted to sell the Elise into North america, but it had emission issues - so for the phase 2 they use the Toyota celica (190bhp) powerplant (including the exige)

and as others have said, it would make sense if they are going to carry this on..
